Panna Cotta, literally it means Cooked Cream, because of the cooking process of the recipe.
Traditionally it comes from north of Italy, but nowadays it’s popular all over the “Stivale” (“The Boot”, a way the Italian peninsula it’s called because of its shape) and after Tiramisu it’s probably the most famous Italian dessert in the world.
Our Chef decided to develop a nice variant of the original recipe, adding just a little bit of lime.
The lime juice will give a smoother taste making this dessert more suitable for the summer.
Finally, it’s topped with Sugar Crumble, Fresh Mint and Strawberry Jam, to make it as good as nice 🙂
