Pasta is one of the traditional Italian cuisine, made from unleavened dough containing ground durum wheat, water, and eggs. Pasta is delicately hand-made with the mixture of water and semolina flour. Semolina is used in pasta as it is a coarse-ground flour of durum wheat, along with high protein hard wheat, made from the original recipe from Sicily.
The process of making the authentic Italian Pasta: flour is first molded on a flat surface and then a pile of flour is created. The egg is then poured into the bowl then egg bitter is used to mix the egg and flour. There are a several ways to shape the sheets of pasta depending on the type required by using the pasta makers to get the fresh pasta sheets. The sheets of pasta dough into the machine by hand, and by turning a hand crank, extrudes the pasta through a machine ‘comb’ that shapes the pasta noodles as they are extruded. After getting the fine sheets of pasta add pasta sauce, pepper according to one’s taste, but the simple it is the authentic taste it is!
1- fill up a big pot with high edges plenty of salted water and bring to boiling
2- throw the pasta into the pot and cook it for about 6 to 8 minutes according to your personal taste
3- drain the pasta and mix it with your favorite sauce
- 1L of water every 100gr of Pasta
- 10gr of salt per 1Lt of Water
